Practice taking photographs in a studio

Karen shows me basic techniques in taking photographs in a studio. I was discussing what I did for my degree piece and this where idea growing salt crystals came from. From my Degree, show it about installation this time I would like to create a professional photograph.
Karen and I set up salt experiments ready for taking photographs using correct technique and light effects with Jan another artist who specialize in metro and lighting photograph.
I am going shadowing two artists in the next coming months. I will be learning camera techniques and how use metro (close up) techniques to improve on the photography skills which I need to become more professional.
