Feedback form complete so far, collect yesterday after being in a meeting with Reveo commuity (unit 2 part E)

Collecting feedback was done by this questionnaire which was left in the hub so people could fill it out: results below

Feedback

I have collected some of the local people feedback from Culture shop to see what other though of the display example of some the quotes received are below. On the whole most people had positive feedback for the window display.  The only negative feedback I was inform of was “the piece seemed a little small so it hard to see”.  I had few people saying that had to go right up to the shop window to see the piece.  Further planning if I was to do the project again I would have lighting, spot lights on the piece and enlarge the photographs so they were bolder and made bigger impact on people.

The children said they enjoyed taking photograph and were pleased with the result they would like to keep own photographs. Children seem to enjoy the sessions especially going out to take photographs with their personal camera. I think the children would love take more photograph unfortunately the camera film was limited therefore maybe bigger filmed disposable cameras would have been better the children.  We asked if the hub/ Ibbison Court could keep the piece after the display had finished and also children requests for the copies of the photos they taken, showing they were pleased what they had done. “I've got to say, the girls did a brilliant job and the community group were thrilled with the workshops and the end result”.

Lots of positive feedback about “It reflected the local area”  and “Captured the area well and gave a sense of history”. We pleased local people felt we had shown Reveo area well. “I loved the way the ageing process made each photo look like there was a story behind it- it makes Central Drive Mysterious!” The disposable cameras and editing the photographs was a good idea and work really well. “Reminding people of the good things in the area, People really thought they were old photos. Very interesting”.

What I have learnt from the feedback is that the piece should ideally bigger and should have used light. If I were run the project, again I would maybe make the photographs larger so they could be seen from across the street. I also think have put spot lights in the window would highlighted the piece from outside to get more people attenuation.  I personally think if we had more time we would have been able to scoured better materials to display the photographs, this would gave the shop window a more professional overall look.
